ISA Awards: Hat-trick Saga of Success Since 2007
In 2004, the school introduced the Cambridge Curriculum. The
students stated “Thinking globally, and act locally” gained spot light.
The school received the offer from the British Council to submit a
dossier on the practices adopted to bring in International
mindedness, there was a years’ time to plan, execute and with
evidence submit the dossier. And in 2007, the school received the
International Schools Award. .
ISA has opened doors to international cultures, thus giving teachers
and students a new outlook to the world and has prepared students
with skills for life and work in a global economy, opening their eyes
to new opportunities. This includes activities in areas like Global
Citizenship; where we have undertaken collaborative projects on
global themes with our partner school, enriching education, where
our teachers have implemented useful changes to teaching and
curriculum based on collaborative learning and have maintained the
international ethos of the school by carrying out more activities with
partner schools.
ISA is a platform where students gets hands-on-experience on 21 st
century skills like, creativity and imagination, critical thinking and
problem solving, collaboration, teamwork, leadership,
communication skills, social responsibilities and ethics. Name it and
it’s all there!
A proud moment it was, then, for the institution to be conferred the
’International School Award’ consecutively: 2007-2010, 2011-2014, 2015 -
2018 and yet again from 2018-2021 by the British Council.
