A Level
Prabhavati Padamshi Soni International Junior College (PPSIJC) was started by The Juhu Parle Education Society in July 2008. The Junior College commenced with the intent of providing our own IGCSE pass-outs with the scope of continuing the International Curriculum in Grades 11 and 12. Hence, the management decided to add a new branch - the A Level.
The Cambridge Advanced curriculum includes Cambridge International AS (Advanced Subsidiary) and A Level (Advanced Level).It is designed to meet the needs of the seekers of globally compatible education and curriculum. Cambridge Advanced is for 16 to 19 year old learners who needs an advanced study in order to prepare themselves for higher education. Students from over 130 countries opt for this study. Thousands of learners use Cambridge International AS & A Level every year to gain placements at leading universities worldwide.

At PPSIJC we extend the USGS tagline by being different. We are a college that takes keen interest in the progress and future path of each student. To trigger the process of success this branch of the JPES tree has adopted certain strategies and a well-defined course which has taken many of our students to heights rarely attained in such large numbers from a single institution. This is largely due to the fact that we seek to equip our students with not only academic prowess, but holistic, all round development.

DRESS CODE:
We, at PPSIJC, expect a sense of discipline both in the attire and conduct of our learners. It requires abiding by a few norms. Students are expected to:
- Purchase the college uniform which includes dark blue jeans, white shirt, and Raymond blazer from the vendor prescribed in the circular. Low waist, tight fitted jeans are strongly prohibited.
- Dress in a well ironed and tucked in white shirt, sport neatly combed hair and be immaculately groomed at all times.
- Wear the blazer daily.
- Wear smart moderate-heeled footwear. Flip-flops and sandals and are not permitted. Sandals may be used during the rainy season.
- Avoid at all times, fancy accessories like flashy bracelets, bangles, ear-rings, hair clips, coloured lenses or spectacles.
- A sense of belonging and uniformity.
- Minimal distractions.
- Developing a sense of ownership and responsibility.
PPSIJC NORMS:
As seen above, PPSIJC offers multitude curricular and co-curricular experiences and inculcates a sense of togetherness among its students. To ensure maximum benefit, students are expected to:
- Attend college punctually and regularly in complete uniform.
- Respect all the teachers.
- Be fair and honest in studies and at play.
- Speak in English at all times in the premises.
- Carry the handbook to college daily.
- Maintain silence & discipline in the class, respect views of fellow class-mates.
- Take care of the college property, refrain from damaging it, and prevent other from doing so.
- Be friendly, courteous and helpful to parents, teachers and friends.
- Avoid bullying, vulgarity, indecent behavior at all times.
- Be responsible for belongings.
- Use Internet and Social Networking sites ethically.
- Seek permission of the teachers/staff members in charge to stay back beyond college hours for any activities.
High grades at the A Level are possible only through dedication and drive.
