IHC
All our students belong to one of four Houses - ROSES, BLUEBELLS, DAFFODILS, SHAMROCKS which imbibe the spirit of healthy competition, fair play and a sense of belonging. The four Houses compete with each other throughout the year in various Inter-House Competitions to bag the First place and the BEST HOUSE trophy. This participation and spirit is in keeping with their house mottos.
Bluebells- FULL EFFORT IS FULL VICTORY.
Daffodils- DO YOUR PART.
Roses- EXCELLENCE THROUGH ENDEAVOUR.
Shamrocks - NEVER GIVE IN.
Inter-House Competitions (IHCs) are considered to be an integral part of our institution as they educate our students in skills much needed today- Life Skills. A fantastic side effect of participation is increased confidence, which can positively show itself in a student’s school life from the classroom and beyond. The competitions are open to all students of grade 3-12 who are selected after auditions or eliminations and can compete to bring laurels to their house.
Debates, Elocutions, Dance, Music, Drama, Master chef, JAM, Creative Writing, Quiz, Debates and many such events mark the calendar year keeping the young learners enthused and motivated to keep surging ahead. This blend ensures that everyone has the opportunity to represent their House in something that they enjoy or are good at. Right from the budding and aspiring writers, to the budding chefs, to the artistic and creative students, to the actors & playwrights -there’s something for everyone!
We believe that each individual has a set of skills which need to be tapped and honed thereby encouraging each student to participate in the innumerable events through the year, each year and brace for the future. It is these little steps that lead to giant strides as they build confidence and the true, healthy competitive spirit.
